You might already know that I am a big fan of the PANTONE color reports that come out every season. I am always looking out for the season’s color chart and of course for the color of the year (this year’s been honeysuckle, wonder what’s up for 2012? I hope some kind of warm purple…). As last year, I like browsing through the season’s clors and try to find handmade itesm that fit that particular hue. If you wanna take a look at last year’s combos, you can find them here.
This year, the colors get a bit more intense and vibrant. We still have some form of mellow yellow with bamboo (a mix between endive and golden glow), some pearly pastels with nougat, ochid hush and quarry and a lovely teal called deep teal, a richer version of last years’ lagoon. The purple hues are represented by phlox, a nice color, but I’m sorry to see chocolate truffle go – it was such a lovely shade.
And here are the first two colors, bamboo & emberglow in a wonderful international selection of handmade goodies. If you like something, just click on the thumbnal it will take you to the sellers’ shop. Happy browsing!
