Happy New Year everyone!

Although New Year’s Eve has been some two weeks ago, I managed just now to get some free time, sit down and wish you a happy 2011 in which, hopefully, all your dreams will come true.

So what are your new year resolutions? I have just three: to settle nicely in a new town and a new job (yes, my studies in Muenster are finished, so we must move out and find another nice apartment to live in), to continue jogging 3 times a week and to lear how to ride a horse  – this one’s on my resolution list for like 3 years now! But I’d love to hear what you want to achieve in 2011.

In the meantime, let me show you some photos of my Christmas tree. They were taken at my parent’s house where I spent the holidays. Our tree was decorated in a simple, scandinavian style with red, white and just a touch of gold. Most of the tree decorations were handmade by me – making ornaments for myself to keep was really fun, since most of the time I sell everything I make.

And speaking of Christmas Trees, Atelierul had a nice contest about who has the most beautiful handmade tree. If you are curious you can take a look at the pictures here.

Oh, another resolution of mine should be to post more often here. So I hope I can show you soon some of the latest handmade things I made and bought. And I’ll say just one more thing: Honeysuckle :)
